01About this policy

This policy covers drisvani.in, the video player, the Drisvani Telegram bot and the creator dashboard. It explains how we handle personal data under India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023.

02What we collect from creators

When you use Drisvani as a creator, we keep:

• Your Telegram account ID, username, display name and profile photo
• Your email address — and a hash of your password, or your Google account ID — if you sign in that way
• Sign-in records: the device and browser, your country, and a one-way hash of your IP address
• The videos you share, and the views, earnings and payouts that come from them
• Before your first withdrawal: your legal name, PAN (encrypted) and UPI ID
• If you join the early-access list: your email address, the form you used, when you confirmed it, and which version of this policy you were shown

03What we collect from viewers

Viewers never create an account and we never learn their name. For each view we record only what's needed to count it fairly and show it in the creator's record:

• A one-way hash of the IP address — never the address itself
• The country and type of device
• How many seconds were watched
• An ID for that one playback, and the date

04How we use it

We use personal data only to:

• Run the service — host videos, create links and play them
• Count views fairly, reject bot and repeat views, and credit earnings
• Pay creators and verify their identity before the first withdrawal
• Keep accounts secure and detect fraud
• Meet legal duties, such as acting on takedown notices and keeping tax records

05What we never do

We never:

• Sell personal data
• Store a viewer's raw IP address
• Write your email address, your PAN or a viewer's IP address into our logs
• Track viewers across other websites ourselves

06Who we share it with

We share data only with the companies that help us run Drisvani, and only what each one needs: cloud hosting and video storage, email delivery, our payout provider, Telegram (for the bot) and Google (if you sign in with Google).

Ads shown on the player come from advertising networks. They may use their own cookies or identifiers under their own privacy policies; our ad policy (/ad-policy) limits what those ads can do.

We disclose data to authorities only when the law requires it.

07Cookies

The creator dashboard uses one cookie to keep you signed in. The video player sets no tracking cookies of our own. Advertising networks may set their own, as described above.

08How long we keep it

View records are archived after 180 days. Earnings, ledger and payout records are kept for as long as the law requires for audit and tax — including after an account is closed — because they are the record of what you were paid.

Takedown records are kept for 180 days. Sign-in sessions end after at most 90 days.

An early-access address that isn't confirmed within 30 days is deleted. You can leave the list at any time with the link in any of our early-access emails, and the address is deleted straight away.

09Security

Passwords and session tokens are stored only as hashes, PANs are encrypted, and viewer IP addresses are hashed before they are stored. Sensitive changes to a creator account need a second confirmation.

10Your rights

Under the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023, you can ask to see the personal data we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. Records we must keep by law, such as payout and tax records, stay until the law allows us to delete them.

To make a request, email grievance@drisvani.in. We acknowledge it within 24 hours and resolve it within 15 days.

11Children

Creator accounts are for people aged 18 and over. We don't knowingly collect data about children.

12Changes to this policy

When this policy changes, the version and date at the top of this page change with it.
